RedTail Solutions Announces the Availability of Its Integrated EDI Service for ACCPAC Advantage Series

Expands Its Portfolio of Integration With Leading Small-to-Midsize Accounting Solutions

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Dec. 13, 2004 — RedTail Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of integrated outsourced Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services for small to midsize suppliers, today announced the availability of its market-leading outsourced EDI service for Best Software’s ACCPAC Advantage Series business accounting solution.

Advantage Series is an advanced, Web-based accounting solution built on a world-class, object-oriented, multitiered architecture that is suitable for small enterprises. RedTail’s service-based solution enables suppliers to meet the requirements for electronic trading required by large enterprises in the retail, automotive and distribution segments without having to make their own investment in infrastructure or specialized expertise.

RedTail CEO Patricia Meisner said, “As large enterprises continue to make greater demands for electronic trading of their suppliers, it is important that we make our services available to as many accounting software users as possible. We are pleased to add ACCPAC Advantage Series, one of the major mid-market accounting solutions from Best Software, to the list of small to middle-market accounting systems with integration to RedTail’s EDI and related services.”

RedTail Solutions has recently begun supplying this integrated EDI service with ACCPAC Advantage Series to a number of new customers, including a distributor of health care products, a high-growth pharmaceutical company and a number of other manufacturing and distribution companies.

Craig Downing, ACCPAC vice president of product management added, “RedTail Solutions is a very strategic addition to our growing list of Development Partners. RedTail’s EDI service, combined with ACCPAC Advantage Series, offers users both a well-integrated EDI and comprehensive business management solution. Combined with its outsourcing services, RedTail and ACCPAC provide users with an affordable and cost-effective way to do EDI.”

RedTail developed its newest service interface to ACCPAC Advantage Series in conjunction with New York-based Net@Work, a technology services company and ACCPAC Solution Provider and Development Partner. They were named as a 2004 ACCPAC Business Partner of the Year.

According to Phillip Goldberg, Director of Business Development at Net@Work, “The RedTail EDI service is an excellent solution for our customers. They are better served by not having to focus precious internal resources on complex and costly EDI issues. Because there is no software to license and our customers only pay for those transactions that occur each month, the RedTail EDI service is the most cost-effective means to becoming EDI compliant for any small to mid-size business.”

Fueled by a market need for outsourced EDI services integrated into back office accounting/business solutions, RedTail has experienced an expansion in business up to 150 percent from the previous year.

RedTail continues to grow its broad customer base through aggressive programs initiated through close partnerships with a number of leading accounting and business system providers and their reseller networks. RedTail is a current development partner with AccountMate, Best Software (including ACCPAC Advantage Series and Pro Series, MAS 90/200, and BusinessVision), Microsoft/Great Plains and others.
