RedTail Solutions Releases REDTAIL TRANSACTION MANAGER 4.0.5

New Product adds advanced ASN support and additional automation for transaction processing

Westborough, Massachusetts, May 16 2005 –
RedTail Solutions is pleased to announce the release of the RedTail Transaction Manager 4.0.5 (RTTM). This latest release of our EDI transaction processing platform includes several new features that will assist companies who process large volumes of transactions and require tighter integration to internal Warehouse Management and Pick and Pack applications. RTTM 4.0.5 facilitates automated creation of the “856” Advance Ship Notice transaction through its interface to most Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). It also has batching and consolidation features that make the creation and processing of large volumes of ASNs, including the creation of UCC128 labels, much more efficient. In addition, features have been added to increase the level of automation for general transaction processing. The following new features are included in this latest release:

• Batch ASN Import and Backfill – Manufacturers who use external systems (WMS, remote warehouses, or third-party logistics providers) that generate shipping or ASN data can now fully integrate with the RedTail Transaction Manager. This new import and backfill functionality will enable tight integration between a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or other system , where ASN data or shipping information can be imported into RTTM in a standardized format. This will link all of the transactions associated with the life of the order.

• High Volume ASN Processing – Whether shipping information is imported from an external system, or ASNs are created from order data already in RTTM, the batch processing features will allow a user to assign a single bill of lading (BOL), SCAC, or ship date that is applied to a related group of ASNs and UCC128 labels with just a few simple steps.

• “Consolidated ASN” Functionality – Batched ASNs that have been created in RTTM can be consolidated by RedTail servers to meet the requirements of certain trading partners who require their SDQ orders to be consolidated under a single ASN header when the orders are shipped.

• Automated Approve & Transfer – The RedTail Transaction Manager now works in automated mode, where incoming purchase orders can be retrieved automatically and processed for import into the end user accounting system. This will run in unattended mode, downloading the transactions on a set interval and processing them for transfer into the accounting system. This will be very useful to customers who process large volumes of transactions throughout the day, and require on going, simple integration into the accounting system, for seamless transaction processing.

“This new release of our RTTM Client offers exciting new features that will enhance overall productivity for our customers when managing their ASN transactions and it will help to automate and streamline the overall receipt of new transactions, making it easier for them to better manage their electronic orders.” Stated Patricia Meisner, CEO of RedTail Solutions.
